-The Perfect Harmony Of Hummingbirds

The Voice Art is an innovative singing competition that has been organised to uplift the vocal talents of young Tamil artists. The aim of this competition is to find the future’s new playback singers. We are proud to be in our third year.

In our first year, children from the age of 11 to 25 took part and were trained by a few of the best playback singers and leading vocalists in India. We were so proud to have A R Reihana, Harris Raghavendra, Ganga Sittrarasu and MK Balaji who worked with our participants. For the second year, we divided the contestants into three age groups; 12 and under, 13-18 years and 19+ years, thus opening it up to all ages including adults. We still had the support of our three beloved voice coaches.

This year, for season 3 of The Voice Art, we have decided to make the age range 15+ and expand our auditions worldwide to 4 other countries alongside the UK; Denmark, Norway, Swiss and Sri Lanka. A minimum of 20 participants who have been selected as the best vocal talents across these 5 countries will be sent to India for the final stages of the competition! Therefore, if you are selected for the final stages, you must be available to travel to India from the end of July to the end of September (exact dates will be confirmed soon). These participants will also get a great opportunity to perform with playback singer Mohammed Aslam. Participants that were not selected for the final stages in India can also get the opportunity to share stages with Mohammed Aslam if their audition stands out from the rest.

Initially, there will be auditions held in each country which is followed by voice coaching sessions by Mohammed Aslam himself before the selected few go to India to showcase their incredible talents in the final stages. During the coaching sessions, Mohammed Aslam will instruct the singers on how to improve their singing technique, develop their voices, and prepare for performances.

In the UK, the judges for the auditions will be A R Reihana, Theenathayalan, Mohammed Aslam (to be confirmed).
If you would like to participate in The Voice Art auditions, the deadlines for the applications are as follows:

- Norway: 15/02/2020

- Sri Lanka: 08/03/2020
